      Hi Rene,
I’m not sure if you have lost one tooth or all your teeth. There are 2 ways to fix a replacement tooth as opposed to a removable option like a denture. If you have a gap and teeth either side then the space can be bridged (this can be tooth coloured plastic, tooth coloured porcelain, or gold depending on the size of gap and position in mouth). If the space doesn’t have teeth on either side or you have full dentures, we can now place a new artifical tooth root back into the jaw bone ( a titanium implant ). This can have a fixed crown on top and be just like a single tooth, or several implants can be used to hold in place a bridge or fixed denture. Hope this helps,

Hi.i hv gaps between my front teeth.any suggestion to close the gap?.

    • myteethnvd says:

      Hi Sri,
There are 3 ways to change the gaps.
The first is orthodontics – the teeth can be moved using either braces or Invisalign Aligners to move the teeth closer together.
The second is to use tooth coloured plastic/resin and bond it over the teeth to fill in the spaces and make the teeth look wider.
The third is to use porcelain veneers or crowns to do the same as the plastic resin.
Orthodontics involves no damage to teeth, the porcelain is expensive but looks good for loner than the plastic. I have now done a new post with photos if you search the blog site.

      • G Tharshan says: much does it cost for each of the 3 ways?Sent from Yahoo7 Ma

I’m not sure where you live but in Australian dollars we do Invisalign usually for about $7850, tooth coloured fillings about $200-$300 per tooth and porcelain veneers or crowns between $1000 and $1700 per tooth. It depends on whether there is rotated teeth, presence of existing fillings, how big the spaces are etc as to the best option. Some people may just need bonding on 2 teeth in the middle whereas others may be best with veneers on all 8 front teeth.
